About Our Pens
The Blossom
We named this line “The Blossom” because the name evokes the beauty of the cherry, peach, and pecan blossoms; small and elegant, with soft curves like the pen's grip.
Our “Blossom 5” pens use a JoWo #5 nib and can be posted. This is the original Blossom pen.
Our “Blossom 6” pens use a JoWo #6 nib and can be posted. The pen is proportionally larger than the original Blossom pen, but only the minimum amount required to accommodate the larger nib while maintaining the integrity of the original design.
The Rosewood
This pen line is Susan’s design. She did have input on the Blossom and Heartwood designs, but she wanted to create a pen that is a hybrid of the two to incorporate her preferences.
Our Rosewood pens use a JoWo #5 nib and can be posted (like the Blossom 5). The grip section is traditionally shaped (like the Heartwood) but it’s somewhat longer, providing the user a larger area to hold the pen. The body and cap form a continuous line that tapers at the end of the body to allow the cap to be posted.
The Heartwood
We named this line “The Heartwood” because the heartwood is the inner core of a tree trunk; strong, unified, and continuous, like the pen's cap which blends with the body when closed.
Our Heartwood pens feature a JoWo #6 nib and cannot be posted.
